SpIRIT Technology – NAIGS

The numbers of satellites in planned constellations and their complexity is rapidly increasing, while the reaction times required for tasking and data acquisition are rapidly decreasing. This necessitates a drive towards more ground station autonomy and more
intelligence within tasking of space-borne instrumentation.
As part of the SpIRIT mission, NAIGS will demonstrate receiving operations requests, applying user priority levels, and making rapid, autonomous decisions about tasking of antennas and satellites according to known constraints of the systems in terms of health and availability.
